SUMMER INSTITUTES Coaching Clinics or Camps Credit Requirement Guidelines
Pacific Lutheran University EDUC 901CC 09 Coaching Advanced Athletics (CRN: 10309)
To earn Semester University credits a Coach will complete 15 hours, per credit up to 3 semester credits and will follow the procedures indicated below. These credits will be earned through Pacific Lutheran University for $140 per credit hour.
- Each coach will summarize each of the clinic speakers or camp clinicians that they are required to attend. A daily journal is strongly suggested.

- Complete the Pre-Planning log sheet below:
Please indicate the appropriate number of hours (minimum two (2) hours) that you have devoted to the pre-planning portion of your clinic or camp experience. Acceptable activities include but are not limited to research and readings, activity coordination, setting of athletic goals to achieve, selection of presentations to attend.

This activity log sheet will be sent to the Summer Institutes Staff at the conclusion of the clinic/camp. All paper work is due no later than two months after your event. ALERT: Please do not procrastinate on getting your work done and turned in by post-marked date within two months of event. Assignments will not be accepted after this date. No refunds.
- The participant will determine amount of credits you wish to earn when you register online.
- All accompanying work for one or two credit hours for course requirements will be evaluated by the Summer Institutes staff.
- It will be the discretion of the Summer Institutes staff to award the appropriate credit as determined by the quality and thoroughness of the required work. Participants will be notified should their work not meet the requirements for the credits that they applied for.
- The requirements may be either mailed or e-mailed to the Summer Institutes staff.
- All materials must be post marked within two months of the completion of the event. If materials are not submitted by that time without contacting the director, Scott Ricardo, the student will forfeit his enrollment fee and will not receive credit.
