Mark and Heather Marro
Mark Marro graduated from Washington State University in 1989 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Education. He received his Master's degree from Heritage College in 1993. Mark taught in Pasco for 2 years, Prosser for 10 years, and has been teaching in Sunnyside for the last 3 years. He has taught elementary PE, high school PE and History. Mark has coached baseball, track, and is now the head coach of the Sunnyside Grizzly Varsity Football Team. Heather Marro is a proud Sunnyside native. She is a graduate of Washington State University in 1989 with a BA in Elementary Education. She received her Master's degree from Heritage College in 1993. She has had the great pleasure of teaching second grade for the last 15 years. During her free time, she enjoys reading. Mark and Heather have three beautiful daughters. They all love to go on family walks and spend time together.
Eroll and Dawn Miles
A native of Southern California, Eroll has taught mathematics, traffic safety education, and coached football at Sunnyside High School for twenty-eight years. He received both his bachelor's and master's degree from Whitworth College. Watching many of his past students become successful individuals are some of his proudest moments. Dawn graduated from Central Washington University and has enjoyed her twenty-one year career as a substitute teacher for the Sunnyside School District. As a Summer Institute Alumni for many years, she is excited to finally bring SI to the Lower Valley. Both Eroll and Dawn have had much pleasure raising their two children and traveling. |
