Sue just recently retired from public education, having been a school counselor for 26 years in both Oregon and California. Prior to her career in public education, she was a probation officer in Michigan for 10 years. Sue received her Bachelor degree from Michigan State University and her Master’s Degree from California State University-Fresno.
Sue was a school counselor at both the elementary and secondary levels. While in California, she developed and implemented an at-risk program at Merced High School which received state recognition. In 2006 she received the Crystal Apple Award for her work at North Salem High School.
This will be the eighth year that Sue has facilitated the Summer Institute workshop in Salem. Each year it has grown in popularity with educators, with 100+ in attendance.
Sue is committed to providing a quality workshop with informative presenters and relevant fieldtrips. It is a week that is well worth your while.
