"Making Sure Everyone Learns Something New Everyday" The classroom teacher has the greatest impact on the gifted learner, and yet many excellent teachers have never had a college course or any other background in meeting the needs of these students. Because two characteristics of gifted students are a need for complexity and an advanced sense of humor, the topic of the presentation is to provide participants with enough background, activities, and concrete materials to be that teacher.
